Started in 2008, SIGGRAPH Asia it blends cutting-edge computer graphics and interactive techniques with the host country’s unique culture. As a roving premier event in Asia for computer graphics, interactive techniques, AI, XR, animation, and game development, SIGGRAPH Asia brings together researchers, developers, creators, and industry professionals to exchange ideas and showcase innovations shaping the future.

To ensure the vision of building a strong presence in the computer graphics, interactive techniques, AI, XR, animation, and game development ecosystem especially in technical research and community building, the KL Chapter ensures that there is a equal balance in terms of representation of Industry, Community, and Academia.

We have grown considerably since our inception in early 2024. From just 12 members to around 89 members in November 2024.
As stated above, we have a good ratio of people representing the industry, academia as well as the various community groups.
